Preamble:  As Gammas, we focus on the following six points when we do the work of the sorority. We are the guardians of our sorority and we fiercely protect it, much like a mother protects a child.

 

Mission Driven- The mission of Gamma Gamma Chi Sorority, Inc. is to promote a positive image of Muslim women and Islam in general. Everything that we do Should be consistent with this mission.

 

Opportunities- We should be constantly looking for ways to take advantage of the many opportunities that exist to help us achieve our goals and objectives at both the chapter level and at the national level.

 

Threats– Being the first Islamic-based sorority, we must be aware that there are several threats to our success and develop strategies to deal with them by using proper Islamic behaviors.

 

History– We must remember why our sorority was created in the first place, and we must ensure that our actions help to achieve not only the mission of the sorority but also the purpose and vision of our sorority.  Our history is being written, and we want to establish a history that endures for many years to come inshallah.

 

Energy and excellence– Our sorority is in the developmental stage. In order for our sorority to continue to grow, we must use our energy to take it to the next level.  As we work energetically to advance our sorority, we must do so with excellence while focusing on image, business best practices, and maintaining our reputation.

 

Respect– Sororities are built on traditions that must be respected. We must also respect each other and treat each other in the way that we want to be treated.
