Who We Are
Gamma Gamma Chi Sorority, Inc. is a community service organization that is Islamic based. We are the first Islamic based sorority of any kind in the US. Since our founding in 2005 and up to 2016, we established seven chapters in six states and inducted 59 women who are college educated and committed to the deen (religion) of Islam, the desire to promote a positive visibility for Muslim women and Islam in general. They are serious about the importance of community service and honoring our Six Pillars. We embrace family involvement in our activities and are intentional in developing activities that delight and inspire all family members.
We are undergoing a revival and are once again opening our arms to welcome new and returning members. This is an exciting time in Gammaland.
Benefits of Membership
Members of our sorority enjoy a twofold sisterhood-they are sisters in the deen and they are sisters in the sorority. Members gain opportunities for leadership development, community service, and all the benefits of a close bond with each soror.

Please note - We do not have chapters on college and university campuses. All of our chapters are city-wide chapters that are comprised of women who are pursuing degrees as well as those who have completed their degrees and are working professionals. This provides great opportunities for networking and mentoring that is unmatched.
